Centurion of Florida is seeking a seasoned full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join Union Correctional Institution in Raiford, FL. You will provide outpatient psychiatric care to a male, largely 50+ population, within a cohesive multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment under the direction of a psychiatrist, with collaboration across the Centurion medical and correctional teams.

Qualifications

• ANCC/ANA certification as an APRN-PMH or NCCPA PA with CAQ in Psychiatry required.
• Active unrestricted Florida APRN-PMH or PA-CAQ license.
• Active unrestricted DEA registration.
• Minimum 9 months of full-time PMHNP prescribing to SMI patients.
• Prior correctional mental health and/or locked/inpatient experience highly desired.
• Able to pass a comprehensive background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients under psychiatrist supervision.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver outpatient psychiatric services in a correctional setting.
• Contribute to close management and follow-up care for a male patient population.

Much of the population within this institution is 50+ years old, serving long term sentences.
