Qualifications

• Active unrestricted Florida APRN-PMH or PA-CAQ license.
• ANCC or ANA certification as an APRN-PMH or NCCPA PA with CAQ in Psychiatry.
• Active DEA registration.
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time PMHNP prescribing.
• Prior correctional mental health is highly desired.
• Prior locked unit experience is highly desired.
• Able and willing to pass a comprehensive background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Work under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a correctional setting.
• Deliver outpatient psychiatric and close management services to male patients.
