Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Part Time Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner to provide care to adults and adolescents in our Crisis Stabilization and Outpatient Clinic in Chicopee, MA. This is an on-site position at our clinics with a schedule Wednesday–Friday, 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Board Certified PMHNP or Clinical Nurse Specialist with APN license.
• FNP certification also accepted; dual PMHP/FNP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric care for adults and adolescents.
• Collaborate with physicians, advance practice nurses, psychologists, social workers, and other staff.
• Provide clinical consultation in person or remote to the clinical team.
• Involve guardians and families as clinically indicated.
• Counsel patients and families and document in EHR.
• Contribute to individualized treatment plan design.
• Order and interpret lab tests and other diagnostics.
• Work fully on-site at CHD clinics.

Description

Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Part Time Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner to work in a team environment providing care to adults and adolescents in CHD’s Crisis Stabilization and Outpatient Clinic in Chicopee Massachusetts.This is an on-site position at our clinics.These programs treat individuals and families throughout thecarecontinuum. Services include but are not limited to individual counseling, psychiatry, recovery coaching, case management, treatment for substance use disorders, and peersupport.

Essential duties for these roles may include:

• Outpatient psychiatric care
• Collaboration with other physicians, advance practice nurses, psychologists, social workers,nursesand other professionals
• Provide clinical consultation, in person or remotely, toothermember of the clinical team
• Collaborate with guardians, relatives, and significant others of people served when clinically indicated
• Counsel people served and their families when clinically indicated
• Document evaluations, assessments,diagnosisand treatments in the electronic health records
• Participate in individualized treatment plan designs
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory and other diagnostic tests
• The ability to work fully on-site

Qualifications:

• We are prioritizing candidates with both FNP and PMHP certifications as this role can provide some support for our enhanced medical group living environment as well as coverage at our CBHC crisis stabilization unit
• State certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist
• An unrestricted license to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
• A state issued Mass Controlled Substance Registration
• Registration with the Mass Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
• No suspension/exclusion from participation in federal health care programs
• X-Waiver preferred

Schedule: Wednesday – Friday 8:30am-5pm (24 hours a week)

Payrate:$75-$88/hour based on experience
