Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations for adults and adolescents.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage short-term behavioral health crises.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and mental health staff.
• Provide on-site or remote clinical consultation to team members.
• Document evaluations and treatments in electronic health records.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests.

01020, USA Job Details Description Center for Human Development (CHD) is

seeking a Per diem Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner to work in a team environment providing care to adults and adolescents in CHD's Crisis Stabilization and Outpatient Clinic in Chicopee Massachusetts. This is an on-site position at our clinics. These programs treat individuals and families throughout the care continuum. Services include but are not limited to individual counseling, psychiatry, recovery coaching, case management, treatment for substance use disorders, and peer support.

Essential duties for these roles may include:

• Psychiatric evaluation(s),
• assessment, diagnosis and treatment of adults/adolescents, experiencing
• symptoms of behavioral health disorders in the short-term crisis
• stabilization unit. Outpatient psychiatric care Collaboration with other
• physicians, advance practice nurses, psychologists, social workers,
• nurses and other professionals Provide clinical consultation, in person
• or remotely, to other member of the clinical team Collaborate with
• guardians, relatives, and significant others of people served when
• clinically indicated Counsel people served and their families when
• clinically indicated Document evaluations, assessments, diagnosis and
• treatments in the electronic health records Participate in
• individualized treatment plan designs Order, review, and interpret
• laboratory and other diagnostic tests The ability to work fully on-site

Qualifications: We are prioritizing candidates with both FNP and PMHP certifications as this role can provide some support for our enhanced medical group living environment as well as coverage at our CBHC crisis stabilization unit State certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist An unrestricted license to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) An unrestricted DEA registration A state issued Mass Controlled Substance Registration Registration with the Mass Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) No suspension/exclusion from participation in federal health care programs X-Waiver preferred Shift: Per Diem, relief for coverage needs Payrate: $100.00/hr.
