Job summary

SAGE Counseling Inc in Glendale, AZ is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant (MA) to support psychiatric providers in our Psychiatric Services program, performing clinical and administrative duties.

The MA handles vital signs, medication support, patient prep, and documents in the electronic health record; works under supervision and does not diagnose. Hours: Monday and Friday 8:30 AM–2:30 PM at the Glendale office.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
• CMA or RMA certification is preferred.
• Experience in a behavioral health or medical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to psychiatric providers within the Psychiatric Services program.
• Assist with vital signs collection, medication support activities, and patient preparation.
• Document in the electronic health record and ensure adherence to policies and clinical standards.
