Job summary

SAGE Counseling in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to provide clinical and administrative support to our psychiatric providers. This part-time role supports patient care workflows, including vital signs, medication assistance, patient prep, and EHR documentation, while adhering to SAGE policies and regulatory standards. Hours are Monday and Friday 8:30 AM–2:30 PM.

Salary: Up to $25.25 per hour, depending on experience. Location: Glendale office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program, preferred.
• Certification as a CMA or RMA, preferred.
• Previous experience in a behavioral health or medical setting preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical instruments and sterilization procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to psychiatric providers.
• Support patient care workflows, including vital signs collection and patient preparation.
• Assist with medication support activities and documentation in the EHR.
• Ensure duties are performed in accordance with policies, regulations, and standards.
