Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Psychiatric LPN for a travel assignment in a mental health setting. You will apply nursing processes and deliver patient care in the psychiatric unit, collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in state of assignment.
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health care setting preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN applies the nursing process and delivers patient care in the psychiatric unit.
• Makes clinical judgments under supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

The Psychiatric orMental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the applicationof the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unitof a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsiblefor care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of aRegistered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements

• Current LPN license in state of assignment
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health caresetting preferred
