Heywood Healthcare Inc. is hiring a registered nurse to join the psychiatric nursing team at Heywood Hospital. You will participate in multidisciplinary planning, provide consults, and deliver nursing care to patients within established standards and policies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with health care disciplines, patient safety, and education for staff. The position features 24-hour coverage with evenings, every other weekend and holiday, and a sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• AHA CPR required.
• Associates degree in nursing required, bachelors degree preferred.
• Current MA RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing interventions for patient care.
• Provide patient care per standards of care and policies.
• Document data and patient responses thoroughly and timely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for treatment planning.
• Support discharge planning with patient/family.
• Supervise nursing care and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Mentor staff and provide education to improve practice.
