Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Psychiatric Empath Unit in the Generose building. The RN coordinates nursing care, provides patient/family education, and facilitates transitions of care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.

The role requires graduation from an ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA-accredited program, an RN license, and flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call. Prior psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA; one year of RN experience required.
• All entry-level RNs starting after Apr 1, 2020 must provide evidence of a baccalaureate degree within five years from start date.
• All entry-level RN start before Apr 1, 2020 must provide evidence of baccalaureate degree completion as stipulated at hire time.
