Job summary

State of Wisconsin seeks a Psychiatric Care Supervisor to oversee shift operations, treatment plans, and staff supervision at SRSTC. You will manage therapeutic activities and participate in policy development, ensuring a safe environment per DHS and SRSTC standards.

The role requires leadership in clinical and security settings, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and the ability to support patient care while coordinating duties and schedules.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in supervising staff or teams.
• Experience providing psychiatric care or security to inmates/patients.
• Completed Academic Training Academy (DOC/DHS Training Center or equivalent).
• Experience working on interdisciplinary treatment planning teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations and implement treatment plans.
• Manage therapeutic activities for patients or groups.
• Participate in developing treatment plans, unit rules, policies and procedures.
• Supervise Psychiatric Care Technicians and coordinate schedules.
• Ensure security tasks and safe environment per policies.
• Assist with direct patient care and perform assigned duties.
