Unit Description

Inpatient Psychiatric RNs work on our mental health care units: a 16-bed locked unit for both voluntary & involuntary individuals, and a 12-bed locked unit primarily for voluntary individuals requiring acute mental health care. RNs participate in treatment plans, rounds, psychiatric assessments, and medical/surgical care. This position is part of a multidisciplinary team including MHT/LNAs, RNs, Providers, Social Workers/Case Managers, and Group Therapists. RNs are trained to cover the Charge RN role and to precept.
