Abhealthnetwork is seeking a Staff Nurse in Scranton to oversee medication self-administration, refills, infection control, and lab coordination for residents. You will ensure safe, accurate medication administration, maintain clinical health records, and coordinate medical care across disciplines.

The role requires licensure as an RN or LPN in the state, with at least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health.

Formación

• Must hold a valid, unrestricted nursing license (RN or LPN) in the state of practice.
• 3+ years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health or residential settings.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and state medication administration regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee medication self-administration, ensure zero-error adherence to physician orders, and audit MAR/Narcotic counts for compliance.
• Perform initial health screenings and ongoing nursing assessments, coordinating with Medical Director and external PCPs.
• Develop and implement infection control policies, participate in QI activities, and ensure survey-readiness for state audits and accrediting bodies.
