Qualifications

• 3+ years of psychiatric care experience.
• Master's degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing.
• Current and unrestricted Washington NP license.
• PMHNP certification.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment and evidence-based treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in EMR systems.
• Pass background check and DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and prescribe psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for holistic care.
• Offer counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, families and groups.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records including progress notes.
• Stay current with advancements and pursue continuing education.
• Average 28 patient-facing hours weekly after month 3.
• Additional duties as assigned.
