Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health seeks an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner for a part-time 1099 contractor role in an outpatient behavioral health setting. The ARNP will provide direct psychiatric services on-site, evaluating patients and implementing treatment within scope of practice.

The role requires a Master's degree in Nursing, ARNP licensure, and a preference for candidates with TMS protocol knowledge and EMR experience. Arbitration agreement is required as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Care or related field required.
• Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner licensure in state of practice required.
• 3 years ARNP experience preferred.
• Proficient understanding of TMS treatment protocols.
• Ability to engage patients in therapy or willingness to learn.
• Ability to use electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate scheduled patients with comprehensive history, mental status, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations.
• Establish rapport with patients and social system to support shared decision-making.
• Prescribe and implement treatment within ARNP scope.
• Complete medical Records promptly, generally same day or within a week.
• Code services per ethical and legal billing standards to support financial viability.
• Strive for 80% productivity based on CPT code time elements.
• Coordinate with other medical services for vacation coverage and refills.
• Collaborate with internal/external clinicians and staff to provide high-quality care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
