Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join an outpatient clinic in Grand Island, Nebraska. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with weekend inpatient rounding and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and psychotherapy, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver whole-person care for adults and adolescents in a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• Must be ANCC or AANP certified as PMHNP.
• Ability to work with both adult and adolescent populations.
• Active or eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Nebraska and Iowa.
• DEA in good standing with no restrictions in Nebraska and Iowa.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• New patient evaluations, diagnose, treat and manage mental health conditions in adults and adolescents.
• Work independently with the support of a remote collaborating psychiatrist.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, holistic patient care.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner you will join our team providing outpatient care in the Grand Island, Nebraska area. The schedule is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm with some flexibility. In addition there is a weekend inpatient rounding rotation.

In this role you will be part of a collaborative outpatient clinic that provides a wide variety of outpatient mental health services, including psychiatric evaluation and treatment, psychological testing, individual and family psychotherapy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. To be successful the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner excels by expertly balancing a productive practice, efficiently managing a caseload while delivering comprehensive, whole-person care that addresses both the mental and physical well-being. They actively contribute as a collaborative team player, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and optimal patient outcomes.

We are offering an annual salary, eligibility for productivity bonuses, and relocation assistance for new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
