Volunteers of America, Utah is seeking an experienced APRN to conduct psychiatric assessments, manage medications with psychiatrists, and coordinate care for clients with severe mental health disorders.

Qualifications

• APRN license in Utah.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric settings preferred.
• Ability to pass Utah background screening and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments including history, mental status, and diagnoses; coordinate care and referrals.
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications; assess response and adherence.
• Assess and treat co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders; coordinate MAT treatment.
• Lead and participate in treatment planning, discharge planning, and education of clients and staff.
