Job summary

Peachford Hospital in Dunwoody, GA, is recruiting Registered Nurses for its Internal Agency on weekend shifts, with options to pickup additional shifts during the week. These 13-week temporary assignments start at $55 per hour plus differentials and may extend up to six months.

As an RN, you will assess patients, administer medications, collect data, develop and monitor care plans, and ensure patient safety and continuity of care for behavioral health and psychiatry patients.

Qualifications

• At least one year of psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience.
• A valid State of Georgia Nursing (RN) License is required.
• CPR certification is required upon hire and will be provided at orientation, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients through a systematic process with patient and care team.
• Administer medications in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
• Collect and analyze data regarding physical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, and discharge planning needs.
• Develop a comprehensive outline of care with specific goals and interventions in the treatment plan and monitor progress.
• Monitor patients’ progress while following nursing protocols.
