Job summary

Peachford Hospital, a 246-bed private psychiatric facility in Dunwoody, GA, is recruiting Internal Agency RNs for 11a-11p weekend shifts (Sat/Sun/Mon) or 7a-7p Fri-Sun. These 13-week temporary assignments may extend up to six months, starting at $55 per hour plus differentials.

RNs provide psychiatric and behavioral health care, assess patients, administer medications, and develop and monitor individual treatment plans.

Qualifications

• At least one year of psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience.
• Valid State of Georgia RN license required.
• CPR certification required upon hire and provided at orientation if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients through a systematic patient-centered approach with input from families and care providers.
• Administer medications safely, accurately and timely.
• Collect and analyze data on physical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge needs.
• Develop comprehensive care plans and goals; prepare interdisciplinary treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Monitor patient progress following nursing protocols.

Peachford Hospital,a 246 bed private psychiatric hospital located in Dunwoody, is recruitingRNs for our Internal Agency. We have day shift positions open on the weekends with the option to pick-up additional shifts during the week.

These are 13 week temporary assignment positions that may be extended up to six months with a starting rate of $55 per hour plus differentials.

Peachford Hospital specializes in the treatment of behavioral health and addictive disease disorders for children, adolescent, adults and seniors and has been providing exceptional care since 1973.

Registered Nurses (RN) are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:

• Assess patients through a systematic process of interacting with the patient, the patient's significant others, and the appropriate health care providers.
• Administer medications in a safe, accurate, and timely manner
• Collect and analyze data regarding the patient's physical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and anticipated discharge planning needs.
• Develop a comprehensive outline of care and specific goals and interventions to be included in treatment planning. Prepare interdisciplinary treatment plans for assigned patients and monitor patient's progress toward meeting treatment plan objectives.
• Monitor patients progress while following nursing protocols.
