Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Ohio is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse for LTC to join a full-time team. The role supports children, adolescents and adults with behavioral health needs in a collaborative setting.

Shift is Monday–Friday 9am–5pm with no weekends; competitive RN salary range $64k–$71k per year and a comprehensive benefits package including 401k, PTO and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving psychiatric treatment.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medications.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Coordinate community services and case management duties.
• Assist clients in building skills in emotion, stress and anger management, communication and relationships.
