Job summary

Dickinson Center, Inc. is seeking a part-time Psychological Rehab Worker (32 hours or less) in Ridgway, PA. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and daily wage access through DailyPay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with academic concentration in a field relevant to the position, OR
• An associate's degree and 1 year work experience in mental health direct service, OR
• A CPS Certificate and 1 additional year paid or volunteer work experience in mental health direct service.
• A high school diploma or equivalency and two years of work experience in human services, including one year of mental health direct care experience.

• Works directly with mental health consumers to develop, enhance, and/or retain psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal adjustment, and/or independent living skills.

SUMMARY

This position works directly with mental health consumers by assisting persons with functional disabilities resulting from mental illness to develop, enhance, and/or retain psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal adjustment, and/or independent living skills.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree with academic concentration in an area relevant to the position, OR
• An associate's degree and 1 year work experience in mental health direct service, OR
• A CPS Certificate and 1 additional year paid or volunteer work experience in mental health direct service.
• A high school diploma or equivalency and two years of work experience in human services, which must include one year of mental health direct care experience.

Certifications & Licenses

• CPRP certification is preferred; shall seek to obtain within 2 years of hire.
• Valid driver's license.
