Job summary

All American Village is seeking a compassionate PRSC to support residents with serious mental illness and psychosocial challenges in a behavioral health setting. You will assist with rehabilitation services, life-skills development, group activities, and care planning.

The role emphasizes documentation, teamwork, and adherence to HIPAA and safety protocols, with a focus on creating a structured, compassionate healing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with individuals with mental illness or in behavioral health/long-term care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and ability to work in a structured therapeutic environment.
• Ability to document clearly and follow care plans.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering psychiatric rehabilitation services as outlined in individualized service plans.
• Help residents develop life skills, social skills, coping strategies, and wellness routines.
• Facilitate group and one-on-one psychoeducational activities.
• Provide behavioral cues and redirection per individual behavior plans.
• Document resident participation and progress per standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to monitor needs and concerns.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and encourage participation.
• Transport or accompany residents to community outings or appointments when applicable.
• Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and infection control policies.
