Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in nursing preferred; nursing diploma acceptable as minimum requirement.
• RN license in Virginia or compact state upon hire; CPR/BLS certification upon hire.
• 1 year RN experience preferred; weekend and irregular shifts required.
• High school diploma or GED if nursing diploma is met by another higher credential.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs using standards of practice.
• Develop, implement and evaluate a plan of care with patient and family.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Coordinate patient education and discharge planning with family/caregivers.
• Complete all required clinical and quality documentation per RHS standards.
• Delegate and prioritize tasks to maintain care quality and safety; respond to emergencies.

Education

Bachelor's Degree, Nursing (Preferred)

Associates Degree, Nursing (Preferred)

Nursing Diploma is minimum education requirement (Required)

1 year Related RN Experience (Preferred)
