Job summary

Riverside Health System in Hampton, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for assigned patients under supervision. Qualifications

• Nursing degree requirements and preferred qualifications.
• RN experience: 1 year related RN experience preferred.
• Licensure as RN in Virginia or in a compact state.
• CPR/BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs; develop, implement and evaluate the plan of care.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning to family/caregivers.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to non-professional staff; ensure quality patient care.
• Document accurately per RHS standards and regulatory requirements.

Education

Bachelor's Degree, Nursing

Associate's Degree, Nursing

Nursing Diploma (minimum education requirement)

High School Diploma or GED (if Nursing Diploma graduate)
