The Quality Coordinator is responsible to perform performance improvement activities under the direction of the Director of Quality Management, with central and local site leadership, as directed and guided by the medical leadership of the organization, patient safety needs, and quality of care standards set by regulatory bodies and payers. The Quality Coordinator will participate in data collection, analysis, and submission and presentation of quality initiatives; collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other patient caregivers.

Qualifications
  • Essential Technical/Motor Skills: requires excellent observation skills, analytical thinking, problem solving, plus good verbal and written communication ·
  • Interpersonal Skills: Professional, team player, able to communicate well with others ·
  • Essential Mental Abilities: Good critical thinking skills, able to assess, evaluate, and teach. Flexible with a working knowledge of acute healthcare. ·
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word ·
  • Previous acute care experience in general acute care or behavioral health (may be substituted for relevant education/experience) ·
  • Previous experience with quality initiatives
  • Prior experience using electronic medical records

Pay: $28.26-$35.25

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for Glendora Hospital roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that Glendora Hospital in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
