Job summary

GoMining is seeking a PSU Repair Engineer to diagnose and repair power supplies for a large Bitcoin mining fleet. You will handle Bitmain APW11/12/17 and MicroBT WhatsMiner PSUs, perform schematic readings and component-level diagnostics, and restore uptime at data center scale.

Relocation support is available, and the team emphasizes precise records, safety, and collaboration with engineers and site management to maximize fleet reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on component-level repair of Bitcoin mining equipment.
• Experience with Bitmain power supplies APW11/APW12/APW17.
• Hands-on experience with MicroBT WhatsMiner equipment and power supplies.
• Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and PCB diagrams.
• Electronics and power electronics knowledge relevant to PSU repair.
• Experience at mining facilities or high-density data centers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair power supply units in mining equipment.
• Perform component-level diagnostics on PSU circuits and electronics.
• Troubleshoot IC failures, voltage irregularities, shorts and PCB faults.
• Solder, rework and replace SMD/BGA components.
• Repair power circuits, control boards and assemblies.
• Configure, test and commission repaired equipment.
• Maintain repair records and inventory information.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers and site management.
• Support preventive maintenance and equipment optimization.

millions of users globally. We run our own industrial-scale mining infrastructure

across the United States - a fleet of more than 80,000 machines - and we keep

expanding.

We're hiring a PSU Repair Engineer to diagnose and repair the power supplies that keep that fleet running.

Relocation support available! We welcome candidates from across the U.S. and provide a relocation package for those moving closer to one of our data center locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair power supply units used in Bitmain and MicroBT mining equipment boards
• Perform component-level diagnostics on power supply circuits and electronic
• Troubleshoot IC failures, voltage irregularities, short circuits and PCB-level faults
• Perform SMD and BGA soldering, rework and component replacement
• Repair and restore power circuits, control boards and other electronic assemblies
• Configure, test and commission repaired equipment
• Keep accurate repair records, inventory information and technical documentation
• Work with technicians, engineers and site management to maximize fleet uptime
• Support preventive maintenance and equipment optimization

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on component-level repair of Bitcoin mining equipment
• Strong experience with Bitmain power supplies, including APW11, APW12 and APW17
• Hands-on experience with MicroBT WhatsMiner equipment and power supplies
• Strong understanding of PSU architecture, operating principles and diagnostic methods
• Strong SMD and BGA soldering and rework skills
• Ability to read schematics, board diagrams and datasheets
• Solid knowledge of electronics, circuit design, power electronics and electrical systems
• Previous experience at a mining facility , ASIC repair center or high-density data center is a significant advantage
