Job summary

GoMining is hiring a PSU Repair Engineer in Fountain Inn, SC to diagnose and repair power supplies for our mining fleet. You will work on Bitmain APW11/12/17 and MicroBT WhatsMiner power supplies, performing board-level diagnostics, SMD/BGA soldering and component replacement.

Relocation support is provided. GoMining offers a strong base salary with performance pay, paid leave (up to 20 vacation days, 15 sick days, holidays) and 401k benefits as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on component-level repair experience in mining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair power supply units used in Bitmain and MicroBT mining equipment boards.
• Perform diagnostics on power supply circuits and electronic boards.
• Troubleshoot IC failures, voltage irregularities, shorts and PCB faults.
• SMD and BGA soldering, rework and component replacement.
• Repair and restore power circuits and control boards.
• Configure, test and commission repaired equipment.
• Maintain repair records and documentation.
• Collaborate with technicians and site management to maximize uptime.

We’re hiring a PSU Repair Engineer to diagnose and repair the power supplies that keep that fleet running.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair power supply units used in Bitmain and MicroBT mining equipment boards
• Perform component-level diagnostics on power supply circuits and electronic
• Troubleshoot IC failures, voltage irregularities, short circuits and PCB-level faults
• Perform SMD and BGA soldering, rework and component replacement
• Repair and restore power circuits, control boards and other electronic assemblies
• Configure, test and commission repaired equipment
• Keep accurate repair records, inventory information and technical documentation
• Work with technicians, engineers and site management to maximize fleet uptime
• Support preventive maintenance and equipment optimization
• 3+ years of hands-on component-level repair of Bitcoin mining equipment
• Strong experience with Bitmain power supplies, including APW11, APW12 and APW17
• Hands-on experience with MicroBT WhatsMiner equipment and power supplies
• Strong understanding of PSU architecture, operating principles and diagnostic methods
• Strong SMD and BGA soldering and rework skills
• Ability to read schematics, board diagrams and datasheets
• Solid knowledge of electronics, circuit design, power electronics and electrical systems
• Previous experience at a mining facility , ASIC repair center or high-density data center is a significant advantage

• A strong fixed base plus performance pay tied to the work you complete
