Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking caregivers to assist residents in the Assisted Living program with daily living activities and medication reminders. You will support bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, while maintaining residents' dignity and confidentiality.

You’ll follow supervisor-led schedules, deliver emotional and social support, document care, and work as part of a compassionate team to enrich residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• English proficiency to perform duties and respond in emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind and empathetic.
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks safely.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to solve practical problems in high-stress situations.
• Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor with residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Available shifts are 2:30PM-11:00PM and 10:30PM-7:00AM.
• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.

• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.

• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
