We are hiring a Sr PSM Coordinator (Job Code: 20001679). The role is in the Engineering family, is non‑exempt, and falls under Safety Engineering at Technical III level.

Job Summary

Identifies, analyzes and controls occupational hazards and promotes worksite or product safety by applying knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, psychology, physiology, and industrial health and safety laws. Advises on structural safety requirements based on failure mode analysis, designs protective equipment or safety devices, redesigns machines and plant equipment to eliminate hazards, and develops standards for tolerances, stress ratios and material strength. Reviews proposed safety policies to ensure consistency with engineering principles and recommends technical changes. Supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of an EHS Management System aligned with API Recommended Practice 1173.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analyses and develop solutions to prevent releases of highly hazardous chemicals as defined by OSHA and EPA.
• Apply integrated hazard management approaches to gathering, processing, and transferring natural gas or crude oil.
• Manage changes to systems, provide guidance to operations management, participate in incident investigations, and continually assess the effectiveness of existing Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
• Provide support in the implementation and continuous improvement of an EHS Management System reflecting API 1173.
• Execute the implementation and maintenance of PSM documentation and overall PSM compliance activities for the business unit’s facilities.
• Coordinate with centralized projects and EH&S to ensure compliance with Delek’s PSM program.
• Prepare, scribe, track, and close out Process Hazard Analyses (PHA).
• Complete all Pre‑Startup Safety reviews.
• Mentor and lead facility operation teams to maintain PSM requirements.
• Facilitate Management of Change requests and associated Pre‑Startup Safety reviews.
• Analyze datasets and prepare reports that track metrics and key performance indicators measuring effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Four (4) or more years of experience in a related field (Required).
• No licensure or certification required.
