Job summary

George’s Inc. is seeking a PSM Coordinator to support the ammonia system’s process safety management program. You will maintain PSM/RMP documentation, coordinate meetings, and work with third parties to schedule ammonia system projects.

The role requires at least 5+ years of PSM-related ammonia refrigeration experience, RI/CIRO certification or plan to obtain within 6 months, and strong OSHA/EPA knowledge. English fluency and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma AND 5+ years of experience working with PSM-associated ammonia refrigeration program.
• RETA membership w/ CIRO or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with OSHA and/or EPA compliance.
• Ammonia Refrigeration (2 stage system).
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Fluent English (speak, read & write).
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PSM documentation and training records for PSM and RMP programs.
• Organize and conduct PSM meetings and maintain action item logs.
• Coordinate with third parties to schedule ammonia system work.
• Set up training with local fire departments and LEPC including HAZMAT drills.
• Participate in ammonia system operations as needed.
• Assist with inspection and maintain HAZMAT equipment per 29CFR 1910.119.
• Identify gaps and help develop PSM procedures and solutions.
• Provide PSM training to team members and contractors.
• Review ammonia project plans for PSM compliance.
• Lead the 14 elements of PSM through drawings, procedures, and programs.
• Serve as primary responder during PSM audits.
