Qualifications

• Must be over 20 with 3 verified years of driving history and customer service experience.
• Valid CT license with PSL endorsement or CDL with passenger endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons in a polite manner and assist them as needed.
• Safely shuttle customers to destinations.
• Open and close doors for patrons.
• Adhere to all traffic laws/signs for safe operation of shuttles.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers (radio with management, drivers, and lot attendants).
• Complete required pre-trip inspections to meet safety requirements.

Salary Range: $19.50 To $21.50 Hourly

DRIVER- Shuttle Drivers needed to drive in New London, CT. This is a local, steady route, transporting hospital staff.

We have an opening for a 6:15am-1:45pm shift Monday-Friday.

PSL drivers start at $19.50/hour. CDL drivers start at $21.50/hour.

The vehicles are walk-on 14-passenger shuttles that are cleaned and maintained regularly.

Full-time help is eligible for Health/Dental insurance available after 90 days (50/50 split), and paid vacation after one year. Room for advancement!
Must be over 20 with 3 verified years of driving history, customer service experience is a must!

A valid CT license with a PSL endorsement or CDL with a passenger endorsement is required.

Shuttle Driver- Job Description

The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited tothe following:

• Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can
• Safely shuttling customers to various destinations
• Opening and closing doors for patrons
• Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles
• Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendants
• Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements
• Recording passenger counts and trip times
• Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
• Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness
• Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management
• Complying with company procedures for shuttle operation
