Job summary

Valet Park of America is seeking a part-time CDL Shuttle Driver in Hartford, CT, with afternoon shifts from 1:15pm to 6pm. The role involves driving newer 25-passenger shuttles for multiple clients, with weekends optional for higher earnings.

Starting pay is $21.50 per hour, with health/dental insurance after 90 days (50/50) and paid vacation after one year. A valid CDL with passenger endorsement and a medical card are required.

Qualifications

• Must be over 20 years old.
• Customer service experience is a must.
• A valid CDL with passenger endorsement is required.
• A valid medical card is required.
• CORI checks and driving tests will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them.
• Safely shuttling customers to various destinations.
• Opening and closing doors for patrons.
• Adhering to all traffic laws and signs for safe shuttle operation.
• Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers (radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendants).
• Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet safety requirements.
• Recording passenger counts and trip times.
• Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations.
• Assisting in equipment setup and breakdown (signs, cones, etc.).
• Sweeping shuttles and removing debris for cleanliness.
• Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management.
• Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations.

DRIVER- Shuttle Drivers needed to drive in Hartford, CT.

We are looking to add to our Hartford area CDL shuttle team, we operate for multiple different clients with shifts all day and night.

This position is Monday through Friday afternoons from 1:15pm-6pm. This is a year-round position. If a FT role is desired, other hours can be added.

CDL drivers start at $21.50/hour. Weekend charters are also available to make considerably more if so desired.

The vehicles are newer walk-on 25-passenger shuttles that are cleaned and maintained regularly.

Full-time help is eligible for Health/Dental insurance available after 90 days (50/50 split), and paid vacation after one year. Room for advancement!

The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited tothe following:
