Job summary

Mt. Hood Meadows is seeking a part-time Certified Instructor to teach guests of all ages and abilities, from group to private lessons, at the Meadows Learning Center. You’ll create safe, fun experiences on the snow and help new guests discover snowsports while building confidence and skills.

This seasonal, part-time role is on the mountain and requires weekend/holiday availability. You will work with a passionate team, bring energy to dynamic conditions, and contribute to a welcoming guest

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Current PSIA-AASI Level I or higher certification, or foreign equivalent.
• Experience instructing skiing and/or snowboarding for an organized school.
• Ability to ski and/or snowboard on blue groomed terrain.
• Must provide own equipment (skis, snowboard, boots, poles, etc.).
• Ability to work a minimum of 18 teaching days per season including weekends and holidays.
• Background check required to work with minors.
• Excellent communication and guest services skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons to guests of all ages.
• Create safe, fun, and welcoming experiences on the snow.
• Collaborate with the Meadows Learning Center to deliver guest experiences.
• Help students build confidence and skills.
• Work daily on Mt. Hood Meadows in varying conditions.
