Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a polysomnographic technologist trainee to perform diagnostic polysomnographic (PSG) studies, titration, MSLT and MWT under supervision, providing essential data for physicians. The role supports patients across all ages and requires accurate recording in the medical record.

Responsibilities include performing sleep study procedures or neurological testing, applying anatomy and physiology principles, and following facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus six months of direct patient care experience or one year of postsecondary education.
• OR Current enrollment in an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in sleep technology.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform Sleep Study Procedures or Neurological Testing for all patient populations.
• Monitor and document appropriately in the medical record per facility guidelines.
• Work with all age groups including those with growth and developmental needs of unique client populations.
