Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist in Huntsville, AL to perform blood collections and related duties. The role supports multiple sites with standard business hours, travel as needed, and COVID-19 vaccination considerations. Strong customer service and data entry skill are essential.

Phlebotomist – Huntsville, AL

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Huntsville, AL. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 3:30pm with a 1‑hour lunch.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency if not equivalent to work experience.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
