As a highly visible and customer-facing position, you will work with an exceptional Professional Services organization and the wider Customer Success team, including Professional Services Engineers, Project Managers, and Solution Architects. You will play a critical role in the success of Professional Services engagements as we expand our world-class consulting organization with a proven track record of working with clients from various industries worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support GitLab-related Professional Services projects.
• Demonstrate leadership throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Detail the design of GitLab-related projects from inception through production support.
• Ensure deliverables meet customer expectations, with proper testing and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate implementation activities with internal and partner teams on large-scale enterprise projects.
• Mentor PS and partner consultants on best practices, communication, and implementation strategies.
• Provide documentation, delivery kits, and training materials as collateral.
• Collaborate with other GitLab teams including training, development, support, product, and engineering.
• Review and contribute to PS training materials and presentations.
• Develop case studies, design documentation, and best-practice methodologies.
• Support PS Engagement Managers during scoping and SOW creation.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with customers, partners, and PSEs.
• Work with project teams to articulate work requirements accurately.
• Stay updated on GitLab features and disseminate information to the team.
• Provide technical expertise and advice during customer engagement planning.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience delivering consulting services such as SCM migration, Cloud Architecture, Developer, or CI/CD.
• Enterprise-level software development experience.
• Experience with DevOps platforms.
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively with teams and clients.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Fluent in French and English.
