Job Summary: We are seeking a Research Assistant/Analyst who will work primarily on an NIH-funded research study investigating healthy aging in autism spectrum disorder. The Research Assistant/Analyst will get hands-on experience in the administration and study execution, team-science, and protocol development and implementation. The individual will have the opportunity to develop their research skills across multiple methodological approaches, including cognitive and behavioral assessment and multimodal neuroimaging (MRI).
Essential Functions: The Research Assistant/Analyst will work primarily on one NIH-funded research study, with additional studies potentially added over time. The individual will have many opportunities to contribute to the scientific process and can expect authorship commensurate with contribution. Work duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Work Environment: Nearly Continuously: Office environment.
Physical Requirements: Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking. Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking. Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.
The candidate will enjoy working as part of a research team. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in neuropsychological or cognitive testing. Preference will also be given to individuals with interest and/or experience working with adults with cognitive difficulties, developmental disabilities, and/or autism spectrum disorder.
