The University Hospital Dental Clinic Manager works with the goal of delivering a high-quality patient, resident, and team member experience to the School of Dentistry UH Dental Clinic. Strong focus on oversight of clinical business operations, quality assurance, system improvement, and clinic staff support and leadership.
As a member of the School of Dentistry team, you are expected to form positive and productive relationships with peers, students, and leadership to support the mission, vision, values, and PROMISE standards of the organization. You are expected to encourage and foster a supportive and compassionate environment for our patients, students, faculty, staff, and the communities we serve.
Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Four to six years of progressively more responsible management experience. Background knowledge of hiring department’s area of specialization in order to analyze, plan, and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing employees and processes in order to effectively monitor and develop subordinates and to ensure the smooth operation of department. Completion of provided supervisory training within one year of employment may be required. Master’s degree in a related area may be preferred.
This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements.
