The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) hired into this position will manage the general health needs of women throughout the life cycle. The position requires a considerable degree of independent skills and judgment necessary to monitor and respond to changes in patients’ condition. Essential Functions:
Demonstrated potential ability to perform the essential functions as outlined above. Ability to provide care to the population served. Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of life span growth and development and the ability to assess data regarding the patient’s status and provide care as described in the department’s policies and procedures manual. Demonstrated leadership, human relations, and effective communication skills. Demonstrated clinical competence and in-depth knowledge of specialty area. Demonstrated teaching and research skills.
