Chubb Personal Risk Services (PRS) is currently seeking an Associate Premier Underwriter to join our team in one of the following locations: Whitehouse Station, NJ, Chicago, IL, Kansas City, MO, or San Diego, CA.
Position Description:
The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the underwriting center team by contributing to the achievement of business results for our most important clients. This includes the use of underwriting judgment, delegated underwriting authority, and support of Premier and Portfolio Underwriting partners. The individual must demonstrate the ability to evaluate risk effectively for approval, aligning with strategies, underwriting guidance, and published workflows & processes.
This role requires daily interaction with the Premier and Portfolio Underwriting Teams and Agent partners. It involves risk analysis, service timeliness, personal accountability, and teamwork. Candidates should demonstrate strong business competencies such as personal accountability, risk analysis, customer focus, and process management.
The Premier Account Segment includes accounts generating at least $50,000 in annual personal insurance premium. The Associate Premier Underwriter (APU) plays a vital role in the team's success. This position offers a pathway for career growth in underwriting; training is provided, and the individual will work across centers handling both portfolio and premier business, with potential for future transition to a full-time APU role.
