Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Proxy Network Security Engineer to support multiple security initiatives in Chicago. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise security capabilities across web, email, and B2B environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with outbound/proxy security controls, SSL termination, and DLP, plus familiarity with Skyhigh, Trellix, and F5 technologies.

Qualifications

• Design, evaluate, and deploy network security solutions for outbound Internet browsing/access.
• Experience engineering web content inspection solutions using Skyhigh Web Gateway, Trellix Fireeye, and F5 LTM/APM/SSLO.
• Strong understanding of information security principles, risks, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Identify gaps in environment management standards and develop plans to close them.
• Define security requirements based on standards and policies.
• Incorporate architecture components like threat models and tech requirements into solutions.
