Providence Health & Services is seeking a Provider Relations Representative in Eureka, California. This role serves as a liaison between contracted physician offices and St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare. Responsibilities include proactive communication with providers to ensure policy alignment and coordinating orientation sessions for new personnel.
Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in managed care and a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including health care benefits and 401(k) matching.
Under the supervision of the Director, the Provider Relations Representative functions as a liaison among the contracted physician/specialist offices and St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare. This position provides on‑going communication, in‑service, orientation, and direction to these contracted provider offices.
Communicate proactively with contracted provider offices to ensure alignment with St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare policies and procedures; coordinate in‑service sessions and orientation for new and existing provider personnel.
Posted minimum and maximum wage rates for this position are $27.92 – $42.73. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
