Job summary

VNS Health is seeking a Provider Relations professional to support the Upstate Network by building relationships with providers and coordinating credentialing, contracting, and performance improvement initiatives. The role works under general supervision and involves on-site and virtual engagement with providers.

You will assist with contract negotiations, credentialing, and maintaining provider directories while supporting education and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent related work experience.
• Minimum one year of health care experience required.
• Prior experience in Provider Relations and contracting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating provider contracts and amendments, including recruitment and contracting terms.
• Prepare materials for providers and explain contract terms and program requirements.
• Maintain provider relationships through on-site and virtual visits and communicate changes.
