Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) seeks a Provider Recruitment and Contracting Specialist to support provider relations and contracting for physicians and hospitals. The role emphasizes building relationships and assisting with complex provider activities, with minimal travel.

This is a Flex (Hybrid) position: 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Base pay ranges from $55,900 to $123,500, with an incentive structure and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of work experience in managed care, or 5+ years in managed care.
• Minimum of 2 years health care administration experience with provider communication.
• Effective interpersonal, analytical, presentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the health care industry.
• Willingness to travel within assigned areas, including overnight stays.
• Knowledge of contracts, applications, and products.
• Understanding of provider reimbursement methods.
• Working knowledge of claims processing systems.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Analytical skills; ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Clear verbal and written communication; collaboration for process improvements.
• PC experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; facilitation and presentation skills.
