Job summary

The Healthcare Network in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Provider Consultant to serve as the primary liaison between the organization and the provider community across multiple product lines. The role requires on-site and telecommuting work, with travel for provider orientations and education visits.

Responsibilities include building strong relationships with primary and specialty care physicians, conducting on-site visits, and delivering education on policies, procedures, and billing.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in Provider Relations and/or Managed Care Product Administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between The Healthcare Network and the provider community.
• Build and maintain relationships with primary care and specialty care physicians with routine and targeted education visits.
• Conduct on-site visits, telephonic conversations and written communications with Hospital executives, Patient Account Managers, Physicians, Office and Billing Managers.
• Perform on-site provider orientations and county orientations for new primary care and specialty care physicians regarding policies and billing.
• Represent the Provider Consultant Department in workgroups and committees addressing provider concerns.
• Identify and solve problems independently and work as telecommuter with off-site meetings including overnight stays.
