Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Clinical Practice Performance Consultant for the WA market. The role focuses on provider performance management and STAR measures, with extensive travel to engage care teams and deliver education and coaching.

You will build relationships with physicians and groups, drive data-driven improvements, and coordinate cross-functional resources to close care gaps and improve HEDIS outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience working for a health plan and/or for a provider's office.
• 1+ years of STARs experience.
• Willing or ability to travel up to 75% locally.
• Proven solid communication and presentation skills.
• Proven solid relationship building skills with clinical and non-clinical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead provider performance management and program implementation with focus on STAR measures and coding accuracy.
• Develop provider-specific plans to improve HEDIS performance and outcomes.
• Educate and coach provider groups on program implementation and barriers.
• Coordinate with internal resources to provide education, coaching, and consultation.
• Provide reporting to plan leadership on progress of performance and gap closures.
