Responsibilities

• Prepares provider applications for third party payers.
• Coordinates correspondence to carriers and billing agents to expedite provider number assignments.
• Delivers provider applications to health plans with adherence to deadlines and procedures.
• Performs follow-up with health plans to expedite participation approval.
• Maintains systems to track and disseminate information on health plan participation.
• Coordinates with insurance carriers to maintain current enrollment documents and revalidation processes.
• Ensures current information is on file for all contracted physicians and forwards documentation to payers.
• Maintains provider number records and adheres to confidentiality policies.
• Participates in a team environment and follows department processes for communication and efficiency.
• Duties may be adjusted by management as needed.
