Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a Provider File Specialist, II to maintain provider data and generate reports. This on-site role in Columbia, SC requires a high school diploma and 3 years' experience in provider networks or related operations, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, DB2, and provider information systems.

You'll manage certifications, updates, and reporting across provider databases, support system testing, and participate in special projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in customer service, claims processing, and/or provider network certification, or combination.
• Working knowledge of PIMS/AMMS and DB2; familiarity with provider data management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain provider files and enrollment on provider systems/databases.
• Generate and analyze provider reports for management at multiple levels.
• Assist with system testing and participate in special projects (e.g., mass rate updates).
