Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of provider credentialing and primary source verification. You will support onboarding, keep provider data accurate, and ensure credentialing files meet medical staff bylaws, accreditation bodies, and state/federal regulations.

Requirements include a high school diploma, with preferred associates or bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in credentialing or medical staff services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years credentialing or medical staff services experience preferred.
• CPCS or CPMSM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete full lifecycle provider credentialing and primary source verification.
• Support provider onboarding and maintain provider data.
• Ensure credentialing files meet bylaws, accreditation requirements, and state/federal regulations.
