TEKsystems in Fairfield, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Provider Credentialing Specialist to support onboarding, credentialing, and compliance activities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

You will review licenses, certifications, and documents, enter data across systems, educate providers on requirements, and generate reports using Word and Excel. This contract role requires a basic Excel assessment and a strong commitment to accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of healthcare administrative experience (insurance verification, benefits verification, provider enrollment, patient registration or related support).

• Prepare reports and templates using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Provider Credentialing Specialist

Location: Fairfield, CA

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented Provider Credentialing Specialist to support provider onboarding, credentialing, and compliance activities. This role plays an important part in ensuring provider information is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory and organizational standards. Key Responsibilities

• Complete credentialing and recredentialing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Review, verify, and maintain provider licenses, certifications, and supporting documentation

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of healthcare administrative experience, including insurance verification, benefits verification, provider enrollment, patient registration, or related healthcare support experience

Preferred skills include:

• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism

Additional Requirement

Candidates must successfully complete a basic Excel assessment with a score of 70% or higher.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fairfield, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
