Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with health care contracting and health care reimbursement.
• Bachelor's degree in health care administration or business administration; master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and evaluates managed care contracting opportunities to grow the existing business and expand provider network.
• Negotiates contracts with providers and payors and informs senior management of activity.
• Maintains knowledge of reimbursement methodologies and health benefit plan designs.
• Maintains current knowledge of the managed care market and trends.
• Ensures compliance with business and legal protocol for contracting and consults with legal as needed.
• Manages renewal process for payor contracts and contract file control.
